ON/OFF Site Emergency Response Plan under Gujarat Factories Rules, 1963

Onsite emergency Plan is prepared by Factory Management and submitted to Factory Inspectorate (Now called Directorate of Safety & Health), Offsite emergency plan is prepared by District collectorate  by appointing a consultant with their Govt Functioning, and controls the entire govt. machinery in a district if required Central Govt Disaster Management help is sought depends on the severity of the situation, example - earth quake industries are severely affected, very high casualties, Collector - second name district magistrate takes the control, and normalise situation, rescue if required state & central Govt help is called in.

The Plan is available at District collectorate office, On site emergency Plan has to be prepared in consideration of Local Admin functioning and a copy of the same has to be submitted to collectorate office if the industry comes under Major Hazard Control category.
